Introduction
============

*Klima* (aka rtis-geog-hpc-p01) is a GNU/Linux HPC compute node managed by RTIS and available to [School of Geography](https://www.otago.ac.nz/geography) researchers.

It is provided to run memory and CPU intensive interactive and non-interactive jobs for computing usecases where [NeSI](https://www.nesi.org.nz) is not a good fit. 
Klima does not have GPU cores available.
